KeVita was founded in 2009 in Ojai, California by holistic nutritionist Chakra Earthsong and organic winemaker Bill Moses. Exploration is a huge part of KeVita. The Sparkling Probiotic Drink was the first retail water-kefir culture on the market, plus the only non-dairy option. KeVita was also the first to add probiotics for added health benefits while other products tend to lack live probiotics by the time they get to the end of consumer. While distribution has grown, they remain grounded in the fundamentals of their process, still fermenting and bottling right at home in Ventura County.
