LE MANI DELLA MODA (trailer)

Gruppo Florence presents “Le Mani della Moda”, a docufilm created in collaboration with Central Saint Martins School – University of the Arts of London, which narrates a journey through the hidden luxury of Italy. The short film is a true road movie through Italy’s artisanal manufacturing that represents the beating heart and true differentiating value of luxury. The film tells the stories, places, and people who work daily behind the scenes of Italian design and production, highlighting the passion, skill, and dedication behind each sartorial creation, emphasizing the intangible value of every enterprise, which is human capital. Protagonist Inès Céline sets off on a journey through Italy with an Italian photographer and creative, master’s students Silvia Napoli and Olivia Brighi, to review the world behind the luxury garments she wears on the catwalk. Her journey through historic ateliers and laboratories where high fashion masterpieces are born includes stops at five representative companies of Gruppo Florence: Ciemmeci Fashion and Mely’s for clothing; Antica Valserchio for soft accessories; Taccetti shoe factory; and Facopel that factory. Cayetano Garcia Sahurie

CAYETANO GARCÍA SAHURIE is an image-maker and art director from Peru. He completed a Master of Arts in Fashion Communication at Central Saint Martins and currently holds a lecturer position for the course. His work has been featured in publications such as Vogue Portugal, Vogue Mexico, and AnOther Magazine. As the creative director of Peru's leading fashion publication LATEX Magazine, Cayetano has created conceptual and advertorial pieces that highlight emerging talent and creativity from Latin America.

Well-versed in commercial production, Garcia Sahurie has worked to create still and moving images for high-profile brands such as Adidas and H&M. Through his personal projects, Cayetano narrates the complexity and beauty of Latin American diversity and history.
