J.J. Torres

Madrid based filmmaker. He completed adouble degree in Film & Media studies plus Journalism in University Carlos III de Madrid, besides Direction and Film Editing in Zagreb’s Academy of Dramatic Arts (Hrvatsko Narodno Kazaliste). During this period he also worked in 3 editions of San Sebastian International Film Festival as a Youth Jury member. He also worked as guest interpreter and coordinator in Nocturna International Film Festival.

He started shooting his first works in high school and college. Creator of the horror webseries ‘Croatian Files’ and second unit director in ‘Intern Circle’, a film produced by NBC Universal. Also worked as produced and editor in the unmade film "Silver or Lead" by Relativity Media. 
His last works include international winning fashion film "We Are Cattle" and "Integración" both for fashion brand María Magdalena, and "The Doctor" a horror short film. Currently developing creative works in Enri Mür for brands like Adidas, Puig, H&M, BMW or Swatch.
