As a young boy, Richard Schmidt discovered an enormous enthusiasm for filming, photography and storytelling, which led to the early development of his later focus as a director. Over time and throughout his youth, this passion became more and more professional. The path was clear and eventually, through his first commercial projects, it resulted in the founding of RIMO Film Production.
The RIMO Film Production was founded in 2017 by Richard Schmidt as CEO and film director.
How has the production developed so far?
Over the years, intensive collaborations and solid partnerships with professional filmmakers, agencies and productions from all over the world have already been established.
Today, Richard and RIMO Film Production form a diverse, professional and motivated team that has grown together over the past years as a perfectly coordinated film crew. The individual strengths of every one are utilized, guaranteeing optimal results.
To date, the RIMO Film Production has been able to constantly expand its broad portfolio. Among the biggest clients and references are global brands, companies, internationally known artists, TV productions, social associations and worldwide renowned film festivals such as the Berlinale.
