Juan San Martín is the director of 601 where he develops video production and production work. Initially trained as a photographer, and later as a director, he began his career in photography and advertising film. He has been director of production and producer in national and international projects in the field of television, business communication and outreach. He has directed and produced TV programs, spots, and advertising, institutional and corporate pieces mainly, in addition to producing live events. He has participated in international co-productions for televisions such as OLN, HBO and ESPN in sporting and cultural events.
He is co-director of Ainarak, his first feature documentary, director of Awards, and in 2021 he directed the 20-episode television series "Ultreia, Camino a Santiago". He is the executive producer of “Ockham's Razor”, “Reyno Natura” and “Anwar”. Actually he is working as producer in Kantauri, a documentary about the cantabrian underwater ecosystem. Also, he is director of “Gernika, Genealogy of a Lie” a documentary which tells the lie behind Gernika`s bombing.
