Kayoko is a hands-on creative director with more than 16 years of experience at major publications, such as GQ, Esquire, Golf For Women, and Essence. She has redesigned and reformatted numerous print and tablet magazines as consulting art/design director, and led them to win awards, such as Pearl Award Gold (2012) for both Time Inc. Custom Publishing's NYSE Magazine and American Express Publishing's Renaissance Hotel Magazine—R.24, and most recently she received LA Press Club's Gold (2016) in Magazine Design category for Frontiers Magazine.
Kayoko evaluates audiences and brands, and executes contents from concept to finish. She is overseeing editorial and custom content, as well as marketing, branding for DTLA Book and District 8 Media's creative direction.
