Jr. & Sr. Project Manager(s)

In preparing for our 3rd edition of LAFF, we are seeking talented and organized Jr. & Sr. Project Manager interns to start immediately. Our theme for 2020 is DIVERSITY. 

We’re using fashion, film, innovation, and retail to bring people together. Showcasing films featuring themes of fashion, beauty, culture, and lifestyle, bringing great minds together and share their ideas we’re advocating for an open, creative and inclusive society. For though we be different, we are but the same.

Project managers will be responsible for working directly with the founder, clients and creative team to guide and manage/lead projects from inception to completion. This also includes assisting with general tasks, social media, presentation building, and other administrative/creative tasks (yah, the boring stuff too!)

We expect you to be:

  • English speaker (other languages are a plus as our theme is diversity)

  • Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

  • Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

  • Ensure resource availability and allocation

  • Develop a detailed project plan to monitor and track progress

  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques

  • Report and escalate to management as needed

  • Perform risk management to minimize project risks

  • Create and maintain comprehensive online project documentation

  • Meet with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements of each project

  • Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members

  • Perform other related duties as assigned

  • Develop spreadsheets, diagrams and process maps to document needs

  • Attend events and social activations, and provide support as needed

  • Collaborate with other teams (e.g. Sales, Partnerships, Film, etc.) when applicable

  • Participate in a group brainstorms

  • Serve in a support capacity across a variety of projects

  • Exhibit professionalism when dealing with clients

  • Consistently meet deadlines and communicate effectively internally and externally
