Max Gilgenmann is co-owner of the consulting agency Kaleidoscope Berlin, which is all about sustainability strategies, creative directing and content leading for brands and organisations.
Kaleidoscope Berlin is responsible for the creative and content directing for Neonyt, the global hub for fashion, sustainability and innovation, where fashion is not just sustainable but also the language that showcases how sustainability drives innovation and systematic impact.
In his spare time Max acts as chairperson for the NGO future fashion forward e.V. that coordinates the global Fashion Revolution campaign in Germany.
Sharon Perez
Sharon Perez is Business Development Manager for Lenzing and is based in NYC. The Lenzing Group is an international company with 80 years of experience in producing high-quality wood-based cellulose fibers—TENCEL™ Lyocell, TENCEL™ Modal, LENZING™ ECOVERO™ and TENCEL™ x REFIBRA™. Lenzing is committed to the principles of sustainable management with very high environmental standards. As the most sustainable company in the sector, Lenzing’s quality and innovative strength set global standards for wood-based cellulose fibers. Sharon’s background is in fabric research and development. She studied Fashion Merchandise and Management at the Fashion Institute of Technology. She enjoys dancing salsa and watching fútbol.
Adriano Goldschmied
Adriano Goldschmied is an Italian fashion designer who focuses on denim jeans. He is known as "the Godfather of denim" and is the originator of “Premium denim”. He was involved in Diesel, and created Replay, Gap 1969, and AG Adriano Goldschmied, and is currently directing Goldsign and men’s Citizens of Humanity.
Adam Taubenfligel
Adam Taubenfligel’s work in sustainable denim has led him around the globe in search of the most responsible ways to make our planets most beloved piece of clothing.
His sole objective is to reduce the wasteful and unnecessary practices often found in todays fashion industry. As Creative Director of Triarchy, a low water consuming, sustainably produced denim brand, Adam brings the mission of reducing the irresponsible and unnecessary over consumption created during denim production to life.
He speaks on the subject of sustainability in an effort to educate on the dangers that things like fast fashion bring to our planet, and what can be done to live a more sustainable life by consuming less and buying better via increased self awareness and mindfulness.
Kerry Bannigan
Kerry Bannigan is the Founder of the Conscious Fashion Campaign, an initiative supported by the United Nations Office for Partnerships, dedicated to advancing fashion innovators addressing the worlds most pressing issues to achieve the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.
Her diverse acumen and innovative vision has led her to execute government initiatives in the UK, USA, Italy, Spain, Morocco and Germany; including fore-fronting the Fashion is GREAT Istanbul campaign in partnership with the British Embassy, Harvey Nichols and UK Trade and Investment.
In 2016, Kerry became the Executive Producer of the SDG Media Zone in partnership with the Office of the President of the UN General Assembly, the UN Department of Public Information, the United Nations Foundation and PVBLIC Foundation.
Anatt Finkler
Anatt Finkler, born and raised in Mexico City, has been immersed in the word of design for the past 10 years. Having a Bachelor in Industrial Design and a professional designation in Visual Communications, she began her career exploring different areas of design, but quickly realized the amazing passion she had for the denim world. Some call this “getting bitten by the blue bug”.
Now, currently Head of Design and Creative Director for Global Denim, she spends her days researching trends, working on fabric development, sustainability, innovations and designing seasonal collections for the major trade shows the mill participates in. You can find her spending her days at the main office in Mexico City, getting hands on at the manufacturer and the laundry in Tlaxcala, Mexico, working with her team on new constructions and developments at the Mill in Puebla, researching trends and meeting with customers in the LA office or traveling around the denim world scene finding inspiration.
Kestrel Jenkins
Kestrel is the host + producer of the leading podcast, Conscious Chatter. A former Fulbright scholar and internationally trained journalist, Kestrel believes in the power of storytelling. Over a decade ago, she fused her interests in fair trade and fashion through an internship with People Tree in London. Since then, she has been working diligently to utilize the most optimal avenues to grow mainstream interest in the conscious fashion conversation. She has spoken at sustainable fashion events in the Netherlands, Germany, and the U.S., and recently collaborated to launch her own sustainable label, Left Edit.
Scott Morrison
Scott’s been part of the denim business since the late 90s. He’s founded the brands Paper Denim & Cloth and Earnest Sewn, in 1999 and 2004, respectively.
But it was his third and current brand, 3×1, that really put him on the global denim map. Famously known for its in-store glass-encased jeans atelier, located in the heart of Soho in New York City, 3×1 makes high-end luxury jeans.
Nicole Azevedo
Nicole Azevedo, a California-based designer, has been working in the fashion industry for over 5 years. She brings her knowledge in denim and global brand experience to Boyish from REVOLVE, where she worked on denim capsules for Lovers + Friends, Tularosa, and GRLFRND denim. Working for Boyish Jeans has brought Nicole a newfound appreciation and knowledge for sustainable denim. She enjoys being a part of a brand that is constantly trying to evolve sustainable denim practices and create more conscious consumerism.
Damiano Dall’anese
Damiano Dall’anese is the Executive Vice President for Candiani Denim USA, Inc.
Candiani is the one of the leading companies in the denim industry and the leader in the denim market with over 75 years of experience. I am responsible for supplying fabric, creating new marketing strategies, and designing new products with and for the leading denim brands in the US market. Some examples include, but are not limited to: J Brand, Banana Republic, JCrew, Lucky Brand, Levis, The Gap, Rag & Bone, Joe’s Jeans, Citizen of Humanity, Current Elliott, R13, Guess, Paige, True Religion, Anthropology, Fidelity, Target, Ann Taylor, Black Orchid, RTA, Madewell, Uniqlo, AG JEans, A Goldie, Baldwin, Aritzia, among many others.
