Nicola Martini studied semiotics, cinema, and new media before embarking on a career as a director. He has worked nationally and internationally, directing various types of commercials, Branded Entertainment projects, fiction, and different narrative formats. Martini has directed campaigns for brands such as Ray-Ban, Invicta, Peugeot, Autostrade, Cadillac, Kawasaki, Mundys, Tim, and BTicino.
In the past, he directed the narrative thriller miniseries "A Fine Mystery" for the BTicino brand, earning him numerous awards nationally and internationally. In 2019, he wrote, directed, and co-produced the short film "She Fights," starring Donatella Finocchiaro, which was selected at several festivals in Italy and around the world. Martini's style is a highly personal combination of a strong narrative attitude and a truly cinematic visual impact. Currently, Nicola Martini is working as a screenwriter on his first feature film, as well as other advertising projects of various lengths and formats. Since 2021, he has also been a lecturer for the Short Formats Directing course at Iulm University in Milan as part of the Master's Degree program in Cinema, TV, and New Media.
