The New Gaze

The New Gaze is a theatrical fashion show that explores a possible dystopian future where fashion is used to make the body more visible to computer vision algorithms. This narrative follows Bush era politics and the rise of a surveillance state to body detection technology and what it means for the body to be computer-readable. How will fashion be used to mediate the body and the gaze of the surveillance camera?
