Director Statement

This is a film based on improvisation pieces, in which the tornado is used as the main force behind the movement.

The theme explored in the film is vertigo experienced when encountering the own soul mate. The sensation of a dance improvisation is similar to meeting one's soul mate. Both cases share some parallelism: there is an unconscious fear of opening ourselves physically as well as emotionally.

As we have idealized the soul mate concept as well as the search for the perfect movement when two bodies improvise a dance.

Omar Gémeaux

Omar Gémeaux is a Peruvian fashion designer and art director. He was always fascinated by the simplicity and timelessness of contemporary dance costumes and obsessed with the terrible beauty that two people can create together.
Passionate about it, He decided to create `Gémeaux´, a fashion brand that allows him to express his inspiration influenced by dance and soul mates.
