emigration is a journey into the unknown, that evokes inevitable feelings of uprooting together with hope and optimism.

It was 1899 when the first group of japaneses arrived at the port of Callao aboard the steamer SAKURA MARU.

They left their homeland to explore a new life in an absolutely foreign territory, facing a process of adaptation and cultural fusion in a new land... The Perú.

Her professional career began as a graphic designer, working for important international advertising agencies such as Young & Rubicam, Leo Burnett.

She currently works as a freelance Art director and stylist in movie, Advertising and Fashion.

Her career has led her to participate in highly successful productions in cities such as New York,

Los Angeles, Miami, Buenos Aires, La Habana, Madrid, Paris and Barcelona.

Her experience as a fashion creative and audiovisual art director have led her to create, produce and direct the fashion films ¨Genki Dama¨, ¨Sakura Maru¨ and ¨The Caretaker¨.
