Made In Mexico

Our latest Remake 'peace corps for fashion' journey goes to Mexico to meet the fierce women makers behind our Made In Mexico fast fashion labels. Join fashion activist Amanda Hearst and fashion design students from Parsons School of Fashion, California College of the Arts and Duke University as they get to know the women – Oliva, Veronica and Reina – who make our clothes.

Matt Barkin

Matthew grew up north of San Diego in the 80's where he was influenced by film makers like David Lynch, Alan Ball, and Thomas Vinterberg. He attended the University of California San Diego where he studied under Jean Pierre Gorin, one of the fathers of the French New Wave.

Since completing his education in writing and directing he has gone on to start a production company called Vibrant Films.

His work has been featured in the New York Times and on PBS.
