Found in the Lost is an experimental fashion film that uses a poetic and emotional narration to show that most young people can't be themselves and express themselves under the public evaluations and mass aesthetics, questioning selves whether they are eroded by the crowds or retained their unique individuality.

Rui Li

Rui is a visual artist, filmmaker, art director, 3D artist and graphic designer. She is interested in exploring the slippery boundaries between the computer-generated visual and walking reality and considering their effects on how we see and understand the world. She likes experimenting with the role of visual communications in self-representation, self-exploring and personality psychology. She is trying to record the inner and spiritual world visually and audibly. There’s an intimate connection between analogue and digital within her practice. She enjoys using a surreal and uncanny visual experience to challenge people’s perception of the boundaries between the real and fake, spirituality and materiality.
