A Story of Women (trailer)

A book lays on the ground. A woman discovers the book and opens it. She dives into its lines, reading it aloud: a liberating speech. Through seven different looks, seven different characters follow and respond to one another as this timeless heroine metamorphoses, multiplies, and reinvents herself. Each outfit creates the possibility of a new identity, always moving, never fixed, sometimes paradoxical. The woman embodies the text, alone but as many, she whispers it, screams it, lives it. This film presents a sample of the 2022 Spring Summer collection from Barbara Bui, in a space of thought and observation, as the heroine meanders between words and outfits. Freely.
