ICONOCLAST Germany

Managing Director & Executive Producer

As a producer of more than 300 commercials, brand content films and music videos, a documentary TV series for Viacom USA, a dozen short films, experimental and editorial films he observed and helped shape the German and international advertising scene since the early 1990s.

Before YouTube even hosted its first video, he conducted as an agency producer for Fuel Europe / Amsterdam the realization of Volvo’s Titanium and Gold and Silver Lions awarded “Life On Board” campaign, which featured videos of cultural personalities on a 3D-rendered webpage. After launching Stink Berlin in 2006 as an MD/partner, he fast-forwarded it to become one of Germany’s most creative film production companies.

Since August 2014, Nils is on a new mission with ICONOCLAST Germany in the hood of Berlin-Mitte, orchestrating special projects in the field of commercials, content, film, photography, online and events alike. He accompanied several renowned directors on their artistic career and made it his mission to use his expertise to pave the way for young talents.

ICONOCLAST Germany’s commitment to quality and its willingness to take on risky, sometimes unconventional projects is reflected in the list of international awards that rewarded works such as the music video "Element" for Pulitzer Prize winner Kendrick Lamar with gold at Clio and Ciclope Festival, short films and music videos for the artist and musician Mykki Blanco with gold at the Snowdance Short Film and Ciclope Festival, as well as the Mercedes campaign "Grow up" with several times gold from the Art Director's Club Germany and Ciclope Festival, as well as the Cannes Entertainment Bronze Lion.
